Cu Chi Tunnels & Saigon Highlights – Full-Day Tour

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up directly from your hotel and begin the journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels.

CU CHI TUNNELS

Our first stop is the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network built by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence.

Constructed over approximately 25 years, the tunnels formed an underground community complete with living areas, kitchens, hospitals, weapon workshops, storage facilities and command centers. The tunnel system allowed people to move and operate through the countryside while remaining hidden from opposing forces.

Before entering the tunnels, watch a short introductory video explaining how the tunnel network was constructed. You will then have approximately one hour to explore the maze of tunnels.

Along the way, see various wartime features, including hidden traps, the remains of an American tank and bomb craters left by B-52 bombing raids.

LUNCH

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading back toward Ho Chi Minh City. The tour is expected to arrive in Saigon at approximately 2:00 PM.

NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL

Visit Notre Dame Cathedral, located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Built by the French in the late 19th century, the cathedral is one of the city’s notable historical and architectural landmarks.

SAIGON CENTRAL POST OFFICE

Continue to the Saigon Central Post Office, an impressive example of French colonial architecture. Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the building is renowned for its elegant architecture and distinctive interior, reminiscent of a grand European railway station.

JADE EMPEROR TEMPLE

Visit the Jade Emperor Temple, one of the city’s most remarkable Taoist temples. Admire its intricate religious statues, carved panels and traditional architectural details.

Alternatively, guests may choose to visit the War Remnants Museum or Reunification Palace.

BEN THANH MARKET & LACQUER WORKSHOP

Spend approximately two hours exploring Ben Thanh Market, one of the liveliest and most famous markets in Saigon, where you can browse a wide variety of local products.

The tour also includes a visit to a traditional lacquer workshop, where you can observe the detailed process and meticulous craftsmanship behind this distinctive Vietnamese art form.
